ART AT L’OASIS
A new addition to L’ Oasis bar and restaurant, Stepney Green, London E1, is our art exhibition and featured artists
We will have a new artist from 5th May - KEN LAIDLAW.
We have been very lucky to secure sponsorship through Time Out and are now
included in their First Thursdays campaign.
Every month the galleries and museums of East London open their doors late for a chance to see amazing art, culture and events after hours. With over 100 galleries and museums open until 9pm on First Thursdays there will always be something free and exciting to see.
L’Oasis are extremely pleased to be working with Time Out First
Thursdays 
and
present an exhibition in conjunction by London artist KEN LAIDLAW.

A collection of acrylic paintings and pencil drawings will be available to
view on both floors at L’Oasis from May 5th until 15th June with all
work available to buy.
Ken Laidlaw has worked as an art director
for a major publishing house, as a freelance artist producing book covers
to billboards, and his work has been exhibited at Hamiltons Gallery, The ICA
and The Design Council among others.

L’Oasis Bar & Restaurant, E1 are proud to present an exhibition of paintings over two floors by outstanding artist LYNDON HAYES.
Lyndon is regularly commissioned by Penguin Books, Time Out, The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The Telegraph and Orion Publishing and is much in demand for his original pieces of work.
After studying a BA (Hons) Illustration in Brighton, Lyndon went on to complete his MA Communication Design at Central St Martins in 2001.
With traditional painting at its core Lyndon brings a bold new style to the
table, sometimes combining the disciplines of collage, sculpture and photography
to his pop art influence of Sir Peter Blake.
Our sponsors Harrison Vintners have kindly produced a very limited edition case of wine with a label designed and signed by the artist for auction.
